Meet the Management Team
Founder/Co-President
Sophia Chen
Sophia is a senior at Middleton High School in Wisconsin. As a first-generation student, she understands the challenges that can come with navigating education and is passionate about helping students feel supported and confident in their learning. Outside of Youth4Youth, Sophia is a team captain for her artistic swimming team and is actively involved in her school community through Student Council and National Honor Society. At Youth4Youth, Sophia is part of the management team, helping oversee operations, work closely with tutors and families, and create a positive learning experience for students.

Michael Han
Michael is a senior in high school and serves as the captain of his varsity cross country team, as well as a member of varsity track and field. Outside of school athletics, he is an avid figure skater and enjoys editing music, listening to his favorite tracks, and spending time with friends. Michael is excited to work with Youth4Youth this year, supporting our tutors and students while helping the organization reach new heights!

Chloe Dai
Chloe is a junior at Madison Memorial High School. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, baking, spending time with friends, and volunteering. At Memorial, she is on the Poms team and a part of Spartan Youth Service, where she volunteers with many organizations. She also enjoys teaching and tutoring others!

Wordly Wise 3 Tutor
Renae Lin
Renae is an incoming Sophmore at McFarland High School. She plays a few sports, such as tennis and track and field. In her free time, she enjoys reading, especially in the fantasy and dystopian genres, and most of all, sleeping. Additionally, she was also a student under the Y4Y program in the past.

Maddie Weng
Maddie is a student at Sun Prairie West High School who enjoys staying active and trying new things. She spends her summers exploring new hobbies, such as sailing, and loves skiing in the winter. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and playing tennis. Through Youth4Youth, Maddie is excited to share her love of reading and help students grow their confidence and skills!

Tim Dai
Tim is a freshman at Madison Country Day School, a private school in Wisconsin. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending time talking with his friends and playing volleyball for his high school team. He is also excited to share his knowledge and help younger students succeed, pulling from his previous experience teaching a class. Tim looks forward to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for his students.

Max An
Max is a freshman at Phoenix Country Day School. In his free time, he loves hanging out with his friends and playing hockey for his local club team. He also enjoys tutoring younger kids, drawing inspiration from his past experience as a student in the Y4Y program.

Lucas Chen
Lucas is an incoming freshman at Middleton High School. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis and viola. In school, he is especially interested in STEM-related subjects. As a first-generation student and former Youth4Youth participant, Lucas is passionate about giving back and helping teach and support other students.

Michael Han
Michael is a junior in high school. He does multiple sports, including ice skating, cross country, and track and field. On top of that, he is also a big fan of the show Alexander Hamilton.

Emily Nie
Emily is a sophomore at West High School, Madison, WI. She enjoys reading, singing, swimming as well as making and listening to music! She often does public speaking and debate, and is a part of her school’s forensics and Model UN clubs.

Benson Yang
Benson Yang is a rising senior at Vel Phillips Memorial High School, and he enjoys math and science courses. Beyond academics, he likes playing tennis and watching TV. He has helped teach Wordly Wise 6 previously.
Reading 7 Tutor
Ryan Chen
Ryan is a junior in high school with a strong interest in business, leadership and education. He volunteers as a tutor for Caroline House. Within his school, Ryan helped found the DECA chapter and is a member of FBLA. Outside the classroom, he enjoys exploring new cuisines and staying active through tennis and golf. He hopes to pursue a career in finance with the long-term goal of working in private equity.

Kevin is a senior in high schools. He's from Madison, WI, but goes to boarding school in MA. He loves playing basketball, soccer, and the piano, as well as spending time with friends and family.
