Meet the Management Team

Founder

Sophia Chen

Sophia is a junior at Middleton High School in WI. As a first-generation student, she understands the challenges that come with it and is passionate about teaching young children the importance of education. Sophia is now on the management team helping oversee all Youth4Youth operations. She works closely with tutors and parents to ensure a positive learning experience for all involved.

Vicky Lin

Vicky is a senior at Fairfield Ludlowe High School in CT. As part of the management team, Vicky works to connect first-generation Chinese-American students, much like herself, to a wide variety of resources to best support their learning and growth. She seeks to use her own experiences as a guide to help the next generation move forward with greater ease.

Wordly Wise 3 Tutor

Renae Lin

Renae is an incoming freshman at McFarland High School. She plays a few sports, such as tennis and track and field. In her free time, she enjoys reading, especially in fantasy and dystopian genres, and most of all, sleeping. Additionally, she was also a student under the Y4Y program in the past.

Jessica Wu

Jessica Wu is a freshman at Scarborough High School in Scarborough, Maine. She is a member of both the Maine Juniors volleyball club and her high school's volleyball team. She is passionate about helping younger students learn to love reading and vocabulary. She is involved in her school's Key Club.

Bridget Dai

Bridget is an 8th grader. She loves reading and enjoys working with kids. Outside of school, she likes playing tennis and staying active. she also cares about giving back and regularly donate to causes like the American Heart Association. She's excited to help students learn and grow.

Louis Bingner

Louis is a 14 year old eighth grader currently attending EAGLE School of Madison. Aside from tutor work, he plays the piano and tennis and is a vital member of his school's Mathcounts, Science Olympiad, and debate teams.

Sophia Zhu

Sophia is a junior at Central Bucks South High School. She is currently a tutor in her school’s mentor program, where she enjoys helping and teaching other students. Passionate about learning and supporting her peers, Sophia is excited to continue making a positive impact through tutoring for the Youth 4 Youth program. Outside of tutoring, she is active in several of her school clubs.

Jessica Tang

Jess is a senior at Central Bucks South High School in Warrington, PA. Other than volunteering, she's an active member within her school clubs and loves to hang out with her best friend.

Michael Han

​Michael is a junior in high school. He does multiple sports, including ice skating, cross country, and track and field. On top of that, he is also a big fan of the show Alexander Hamilton.

Emily Nie

Emily is a sophomore at West High School, Madison, WI. She enjoys reading, singing, swimming as well as making and listening to music! She often does public speaking and debate, and is a part of her school’s forensics and Model UN clubs.

Benson Yang

Benson Yang is a rising senior at Vel Phillips Memorial High School, and he enjoys math and science courses. Beyond academics, he likes playing tennis and watching TV. He has helped teach Wordly Wise 6 previously.

Ryan Chen

Ryan is a junior in high school with a strong interest in business, leadership and education. He volunteers as a tutor for Caroline House. Within his school, Ryan helped found the DECA chapter and is a member of FBLA. Outside the classroom, he enjoys exploring new cuisines and staying active through tennis and golf. He hopes to pursue a career in finance with the long-term goal of working in private equity.

Kevin is a senior in high schools. He's from Madison, WI, but goes to boarding school in MA. He loves playing basketball, soccer, and the piano, as well as spending time with friends and family.

Alexander is a senior attending Enterprise High School in Redding, CA. He is a member of the Varsity Football and Varsity Track team. He is involved with CSF, an organization dedicated to helping out the community.

David is 17 years old and a senior at McFarland High School. In his free time, he likes to go on runs.

Chloe Dai

Chloe is a sophomore at Madison Memorial High School. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, baking, spending time with friends, and volunteering. At Memorial, she is on the Poms team and a part of Spartan Youth Service, where she volunteers with many organizations. She also enjoys teaching and tutoring others!

Kobe is a junior at Waunakee High School in WI. He teaches high school reading and looks to help other students succeed in their academics. In school, he plays on the varsity tennis team and participates in Future liberal Leaders, DECA, and FBLA.
